1 part lemon juice
2 parts Cointreau
3 parts cognac (brandy)

ice cubes

Shake ingredients and several ice cubes well in a shaker. Strain into chilled cocktail glass (the ice cubes remain in the shaker).

If possible use fresh squeezed lemon juice. There´s at least 1 oz. (= 3 cl) of juice in every lemon.

The Sidecar cocktail is definitely one of the great cocktail classics and you should be able to get this drink in every decent bar on this planet.
