1 part coffee (cold)
2 parts cognac (brandy)
sugar
crushed ice
cocktail glass
Fill a cocktail glass two-thirds fill of crushed ice.
Add cognac (brandy), sugar (about a teaspoon for each regular-sized cocktail glass),
and cold coffee and stir carefully. Serve with straws.
Traditionally this drink was served in polished glasses that were somewhat larger than
a modern cocktail glass. That's why this is one of the very few cocktails that is served in
a cocktail glass with ice and straws.
